The head of the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Interior of Turkey announced that foreigners do not need a pass in the earthquake-affected areas.
According to this notice, due to the terrible earthquake that occurred on February 6th in the provinces of Kahramanmarash, Hatay, Malatya, Adiyaman, Adana, Ghazi-Antap, Sanliurfa, Kilis, Osmaniye and Diyarbakir, foreign nationals and refugees who themselves or their relatives in these provinces are or intend to leave the provinces, they can leave these areas without permission.
Also, foreign nationals who reside in the earthquake-affected cities can receive a 90-day permit to stay in other cities (except Istanbul) by referring to the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Interior in all Turkish cities except Istanbul.
