One of the ways to get a Turkish residency as a student is to enroll in Istanbul Turkish language classes at reputable institutions approved by the Turkish Ministry of Education.

Tomer stands for Türkçe Öğretim Merkezi and means Turkish Language Learning Center. This center, which is one of the first prestigious centers in this field, was designed and established in 1984 by Ankara University.
The reason for the constant use of tomer correction to learn Istanbul Turkish or to get a degree is that this has been the most prestigious center for this work since ancient times, and thus this correction has been placed in this way for all courses and for all Turkish language documents. Tomer exam preparation courses, which are held by Tomer branches all over Turkey, are one of the most prestigious courses, and Tomer exam is one of the most prestigious Istanbul Turkish language exams.
Having this degree or other documents that are held by universities or institutions approved by the Turkish Ministry of Education is a prerequisite for entering Turkish language universities.
Now that we are familiar with the concept of tumors, it is better to discuss how to hold courses and exams in the branches of this institute.
Tumor preparation classes are held in 6 levels. A1 / A2 are beginner level, B1 / B2 are intermediate level and C1 / C2 are advanced level. Applicants participating in Tomer classes at A1 level have the general ability to communicate and deal with simple questions and answers, at the A2 level they have basic language skills and the ability to converse on simple and predictable topics.
Students passing the levels of B1 and B2 of Tomer test have average knowledge of Turkish language to face everyday situations and appropriate knowledge to describe different subjects, respectively, and finally, by passing level C1 and receiving the diploma of Tomer, they have the knowledge of Turkish language to continue their education. They will have the opportunity to enter the Turkish labor market at different university levels, as well as interact with colleagues and employers.
At the end of each level of the Turkish language of the Tomer test, students are assessed by assessing performance or passing a final test that includes the four basic skills of listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking and writing, and grammar ancillary skills.
Each skill has a minimum and maximum score. For listening or comprehension skills, reading and writing are given a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25, conversation a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 15, oral explanation a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 points.
At the end of each level, the learner is given a certificate of completion of the same level.
The final documents of the Tomer test are divided into two certificates, SERTIFIKA and DİPLOMA.
The certificate is the same certificate that is given at the end of each level after passing the course and its validity is 2 years.

However, the diploma is in fact the final degree in Istanbul Turkish, which has no time limit and is required for university studies and is a great advantage for employment.
According to the information on the Tomer website, people participating in the Tomer test will not be able to receive a Tomer degree if they get a score below 50, and for other Tomer test scores, documents with different levels will be issued as follows:
50 to 59, A2 CERTIFICATE
60 to 70, B2 CERTIFICATE
70 to 100, C2 DIPLOMA
C2 or B2 degrees may be required for students, depending on the major. According to the information we received in contact with the Language Center of Ankara University, the language test is held three days a week in this university and most of the Tomer branches throughout Turkey. .
Ankara University is the direct administrator of the tumor test and other related tasks such as registration, test results and tumor documents. It should be noted that Tomer Center has branches in other parts of the country, including Alanya, Antalya, Izmir, Istanbul (Kadikoy, Taksim) and Bursa.
It should be noted that the study must be completed before 1 year to receive the Tomer degree in the longest period. Classes are held every day from 8.30 am to 8 pm and can be selected in both intensive and normal ways. The tuition fee for these classes varies from about 750 to 3600 lira depending on the number of class hours per day for each semester, and the total cost of tomer classes varies between 14,000 and 20,000 lira.
